Solvent
Cement Fittings
The solvent cement
fittings, because of their sealing characteristics,
are used mainly on small diameters; the safety of the
installation is ensured by the use of certified self-extinguishing
material (the flame does not propagate). |
 |
Sewage
Fittings
Sewage fittings
with gasket are used mainly on medium/large diameters
for sewage works. The main difference compared to the
solvent cement ones is that their joining system consists
of a gasket, also known as O-ring.
The gasket system ensures perfect sealing also for soil
movement as well as being very rapid to put in place. |

Anti-flooding
Valves
The Anti-flooding
Idrostop valve, available in the solvent cement version
or with gasket, is an essential product wherever there
is a risk of backflow which might cause flooding. This
type of valve, placed at the level of the connection
between private and public water networks, closes in
the event of clogging or excessive rain or snow, thus
preventing water from flowing back into basement rooms,
garages and cellars. |

Roof
cowls
The construction of a discharge column in a building
on several floors involves the use of a roof cowl in
its terminal area outside the roof. This product allows
for the elimination of unpleasant odours from the emptying
of intermediate funnels in discharge installations.
First Plast presents a complete range of roof cowls
in different diameters and colours, with or without
a fly net.

Traps
The traditional
connection systems between storm sewage and wastewater
networks in buildings and the municipal discharge network
include the use of traps to prevent the formation of
unpleasant odours. The monolithic traps are manufactured
with "V" sections and provided with a suitable
cap inspection system. Various models are available
depending on installation requirements.
